Scarlett is a vibrant, funny, and very sweet kid. She has a genetic disorder known as Neurofibromatosis Type 1 which causes tumors to grow on her nerve endings. Unfortunately, Scarlett\u2019s tumors grow on both side of her head, in and around her throat, larynx, sides of her face, and upper chest.\u00a0 We started this blog to keep our family and friends, who are spread around the world, updated on Scarlett’s journey.<\/p>\n
